Ceco Concrete Construction in Columbus, OH is seeking a Laborer I to support concrete construction operations on our projects. The role involves assisting skilled trades, site prep, material handling, and operating basic tools to help pour foundations, slabs, walls, and curbs.

The position is full-time and requires physical stamina, balance, and the ability to work in all weather. OSHA 30 card desired; union workforce applies.

Qualifications

• Must have the physical strength to perform heavy lifting repeatedly.
• Good balance and endurance for active construction work.
• 12+ months formwork / concrete labor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor including jobsite clean-up and material handling.
• Operate power tools and equipment (saws, hammers, nails, bolts).
• Assist in pouring vertical concrete and installing reshores as directed.
• Work in varying weather conditions and environments.
