Job summary

The Gund Company has an immediate opening for an Entry-Level Machine Operator (Composites) in Noblesville, IN. The role involves operating thermal presses to produce thermoset composite materials, ensuring machinery is set up and runs to quality, quantity, and efficiency standards.

Key duties include forming molded sheets with thermal presses, laying up and curing glass polyester sheets per orders, and preparing resins with precise weighing and mixing.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing with mixing, batching or compounding equipment.
• Production and processing knowledge of raw materials.
• Quality control and inspections experience.

Responsibilities

• Form molded sheets of materials using thermal press machines.
• Manufacture molded glass polyester sheets by laying up material to the desired thickness and spreading resin according to customer orders per instructions on customer work orders.
• Use Scale, Weighing, and Mixing procedures to add resin & filler to prep resin for molding process.
