Metro Plastics Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Press (Machine) Operator for the 12AM-6:15AM shift in Noblesville, IN. The role involves tending molding machines, inspecting parts, and ensuring quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Experience is welcome, but training will be provided for the right candidate. This full-time position offers growth within a state-of-the-art facility and a collaborative team culture in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; technical or vocational training in related field a plus.
• 1-6 months of work experience; previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use small hand cutting tools.
• Experience working with injection molding machines.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities with strong time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter and able to work without close supervision.
• Flexibility and ability to handle change efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Rotate and tend to various molding machines to monitor performance and inspect parts.
• Follow instructions and quality standards to ensure successful production and document anomalies.
• Inspect parts for defects and only pass those meeting quality standards.
• May use small tools and equipment for secondary processing.
• Maintain clean, safe production area and use PPE.
• Assemble, reassemble or rework parts as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
