Job summary

NyproMold is seeking an entry-level CNC Operator to join our machining team and grow in precision tooling. This role is ideal for individuals starting a career in manufacturing, assisting with operating CNC equipment and learning to produce high-quality tooling components.

As part of the team, you will learn to read blueprints, perform tool changes, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Vocational School – completion or active.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• Basic math skills (measurement, fractions, decimals).
• Exposure to CNC machining through coursework, training, or internships.
• Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines under supervision
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper function and detect issues
• Perform tool changes and offsets as directed
• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and setup sheets
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
