Job summary

NyproMold, a Jabil company, seeks a skilled EDM Operator to join our precision tooling team. You will set up, operate, and maintain Sinker EDM machines to produce high-precision mold components that meet exact specifications and quality standards. This role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years EDM operating experience.
• Experience in mold manufacturing or precision machining preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Physical requirements: stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Sinker EDM machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and process sheets.
• Perform electrode setup, alignment, and burn operations.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust offsets as needed.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain required documentation and production records.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Toolmakers, Programmers, and Engineering teams.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
