Job summary

NyproMold, a Jabil company, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our high‑performance tooling team. You will develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision molds, working from blueprints and CAD data to meet tight tolerances and deadlines.

The role requires 2+ years in mold‑making or precision machining, strong G‑code knowledge, and experience with tooling selection and high‑speed machining. Collaboration with design and manufacturing is essential in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC programming experience in a mold‑making or precision machining environment.
• Strong understanding of G‑code, tooling selection, and machining strategies.
• Experience with high‑speed machining and tight tolerance work preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
• Knowledge and experience machine various tool steels.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 3‑axis and 5‑axis machining centers using CAM software.
• Interpret blueprints and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
• Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and design personnel to ensure part requirements are met.
• Continuously improving cycle times and machining processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
