Job summary

RTCA, a precision aerospace and defense manufacturing group, is seeking a Maintenance Associate for our Fife, Washington site. This entry-level, 3 Month - Temp to Hire role focuses on hands-on maintenance of CNC machining equipment, safety, and facility upkeep in a fast-paced environment.

You will work onsite, support preventive maintenance, monitor machine conditions, and assist experienced technicians while developing technical skills in CNC equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning CNC machine maintenance and manufacturing equipment support.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work full-time onsite at our Fife, Washington location.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks using hand and power tools.
• Support routine maintenance and monitoring of CNC machining equipment.
• Help maintain machine coolant and fluid levels and monitor for basic maintenance needs.
• Follow preventive maintenance programs for CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop area and assist with safety procedures.
• Provide general shop support and assist with facility and equipment needs as directed.
