Big Rock Machining is seeking a dependable, hardworking entry-level CNC Machinist to support CNC production, part inspection, machine setup, and general shop operations.

Previous CNC experience is helpful but not required; we will train candidates with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. You will join a team that values quality, safety, and dependable execution, with opportunities to grow skills in machining, inspection, and Mastercam under coaching.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; CNC experience not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious.
• Reliable attendance and team-oriented attitude.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC mills, lathes or other equipment after training.
• Load and unload parts, monitor cycles and report unusual conditions.
• Assist with machine setups, tooling changes and basic offsets.
• Use calipers and gauges to verify part dimensions.
• Read and follow job travelers, drawings and setup sheets.
• Learn how Mastercam programs and toolpaths are used to machine parts.
• Complete production and inspection records accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
