Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist I to produce precision parts by operating CNC machinery and adhering to quality and safety standards. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and meeting performance metrics.

The candidate will operate machines to tight tolerances, perform routine maintenance, and document activities while following GMP/GDP practices. A strong math background and teamwork are essential for success in this manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment preferred (E/D).
• Ability to operate and maintain a CNC machine.
• Solid math skills for measurement and counting.
• Follow work instructions and maintain quality and on-time production.
• Commitment to safety at all times.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Responsabilités

• Operate CNC machines within tolerances and follow work instructions.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for wear.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and inspection reports.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and follow PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing as required.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report safety issues.
• Meet prescribed productivity targets and identify improvement opportunities.
• Record all activities in the job tracking system.
• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report manufacturing issues to supervisor and assist in resolution.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
