Job summary

Hubner Manufacturing in Dunlap, Tennessee seeks a skilled machinist to set up and operate CNC mills, drill presses, lathes, routers and other production machines. You will read blueprints, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, and ensure parts match templates.

You will maintain ERP data, meet productivity goals, minimize scrap, and perform QC on your own work. A high school diploma is required; CNC certificate is preferred; lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• CNC certificate preferred.
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities effectively.
• Capable of QC'ing own work to ensure quality.
• Detail-oriented with precise manipulation skills.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and GD&T basics.
• Familiar with metric and standard measurement systems.
• Knowledge of G-code and CAD/CAM software.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple types of production machines such as CNC mills, drill presses, lathes, routers, etc.
• Machine parts and compare to templates to ensure accuracy.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints and drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and various gauges.
• Maintain accurate data entry in the ERP system.
• Meet company standard times and individual productivity goals.
• Fulfill output requirements while minimizing scrap levels.
