Job summary

Tecomet in Westford, Massachusetts is seeking a CNC Machinist I to produce precision parts by operating CNC machines, reading engineering drawings, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced shop.

You will manage tooling changes, perform routine maintenance, record activities, and support continuous improvement while ensuring on-time production, adherence to GMP/GDP, and safe, collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Ability to operate and maintain a CNC machine.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within tolerances following work instructions.
• Change dull tooling and adjust tooling wear as needed.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and inspect reports.
• Perform routine PM per checklist and complete maintenance.
• Follow GMP/GDP and document routing/cards.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Record activities on the job tracking system.
