Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in Agawam, MA is seeking a CNC Machinist I to operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components per engineering specifications. You will set up machines, load materials, monitor processes, and perform basic maintenance under guidance from senior machinists.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2-year technical certification or equivalent experience, ability to read blueprints, and competence with measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining and setup is expected.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines with tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Operate CNC machines and monitor performance.
• Perform basic quality inspections with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Make tool changes and offsets per directions.
• Document production records and machine logs.
