Nova Engineering and Environmental LLC is seeking an entry-level Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Kennesaw, GA team. We will train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

The role involves field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates, plus sample collection, testing, and reporting of results to project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in construction materials testing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Collect samples and conduct tests to ensure materials meet project specifications and standards.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports of test results.
• Communicate findings to project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
