Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Kennesaw, GA office. This role offers training and hands-on work in field and lab testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.

You will collect samples, perform tests to meet specifications, and prepare reports while communicating findings to engineers and clients. A valid driver's license and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to learn and be trained in construction materials testing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Preferred: Experience in the construction industry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Collect samples and conduct tests to ensure materials meet project specifications and standards.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports of test results.
• Communicate findings to project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
