Job summary

NOVA Engineering is seeking an entry-level Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Kennesaw, GA office. This role offers hands-on training in soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates testing, with opportunities to grow in a multidisciplinary team.

You will collect samples, run tests, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to project managers and clients while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willingness to learn and be trained in construction materials testing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates.
• Collect samples and conduct tests to ensure materials meet project specifications and standards.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports of test results.
• Communicate findings to project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
