Job summary

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician for our Princeton, WV team. No prior experience is required; you’ll learn on-site under experienced professionals, conducting observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete.

We provide paid training and cover certification fees. Role involves data collection, communication with contractors and project managers, and training toward CMT certifications as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• No experience required; paid training provided.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift at least 85 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and insurance required.
• Willing to develop knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete at project sites.
• Perform routine field and laboratory tests following industry standards.
• Collect and reduce data from tests and sampling; assist with drafting and admin duties.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Receive training and document findings with precision per engineering practices.
