Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a motivated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Pittsburgh team. You will learn to safely perform field observations, sampling, and testing of soils, aggregates, and concrete under guidance from senior staff.

No prior experience is required. You will receive paid training and support for certification opportunities such as OSHA 10, ACI, and NRCA programs.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided."
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds and operate a vehicle safely.
• Willing to develop understanding of CMT principles and safety procedures.
• OSHA 10 certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete at project sites.
• Perform routine field/lab tests following industry standards.
• Collect data and perform calculations from test results.
• Communicate site conditions and testing needs with supervisors and project managers.
• Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings precisely.
