Job summary

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC in Norcross, GA seeks a CMT Field Engineer to support Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects across the Atlanta metropolitan area. This salaried position includes overtime with opportunities for growth on prestigious southeastern projects.

Primary duties include data reduction, fieldwork, reporting, client consultations, and coordination with the NOVA team. 80% fieldwork and 20% office with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree or equivalent with NCEES evaluation.
• 0–4+ years of construction testing/inspections experience preferred.
• Entry-level graduates encouraged to apply.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license preferred, not required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Position entails ~80% fieldwork and ~20% office with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Staff/project engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for CTS/Inspection and geotechnical projects.
• Assist with project management & reporting.
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils/foundations, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation.
• Client consultation and maintenance.
• Provide assistance to other NOVA team members to meet company objectives.
