Job summary

Saint-Gobain Life Sciences is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Technician I in Gaithersburg, MD. You will perform manufacturing, assembly and inspection duties in ISO 7/8 cleanrooms, with cross-training to grow skills and advance in the organization.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of cleanroom experience, ability to follow SOPs, and basic math/computer skills. Shift options available, with GDP/GMP preferred and ISO cleanroom familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience in a cleanroom/regulated environment; Required.
• Adherence to gowning requirements when in the cleanroom; Required.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs; Required.
• Ability to perform basic math and arithmetic to measure and cut components; Required.
• Basic computer skills; Required.
• Ability to work 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, M - F; Required.
• GDP/GMP experience; Preferred.
• ISO 7 or ISO 8 environment experience; Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry level manufacturing duties in production, assembly, and inspection.
• Work in ISO 7 and ISO 8 cleanrooms to meet quality standards.
• Learn and cross-train on steps in the process to develop skills and career.
• Support adherence to procedures and safety practices.
