Job summary

Synectics Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking a Production Technician I to perform routine manufacturing tasks on the shop floor under supervision.

The role emphasizes following SOPs for equipment setup in a clean room, proper gowning, aseptic techniques, and accurate MES records. You will operate HMI controls for purification and formulation, assist with column packing, maintain equipment, and support area housekeeping while learning cGMP, quality and SHE requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 yr. relevant experience.
• Basic computer literacy; willingness to learn MES and CMMS.
• BS/BA degree desirable.
• Shift X nights - 6pm-6:30 AM; 12-hour rotating schedule.
• Science background helpful; bachelor's in science advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP procedures for equipment setup in a clean room environment.
• Operate HMI controls for purification, formulation, and column packing.
• Read procedures, set up tanks, follow parameters, escalate issues as needed.
• Execute column chromatography and routine production tasks.
• Complete electronic and paper records in MES for traceability.
• Support area ownership and participate in basic continuous improvement activities.
