Job summary

City of Franklin is seeking an entry-level, part-time Clean Water Operator to monitor and maintain controls of water facility equipment. The role operates on three 8-hour shifts with potential non-standard hours.

You will work under supervision, perform routine maintenance, collect samples, monitor parameters, and ensure safety and compliance. Requires HS diploma or 2–3 years related experience; ability to work in challenging conditions and in a team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent, or 2–3 years related experience in a similar role.
• Entry-level, part-time position handling monitoring and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility operation via SCADA under supervision.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Collect water quality parameters and samples.
• Record operations in written and electronic formats.
• Assist with safety, PPE usage, and team tasks.
• Operate equipment and assist with grounds maintenance as needed.
