Job summary

IAT Insurance Group is hiring entry-level Claims Associates for its Raleigh, North Carolina office. The program features a structured rotational training path across Auto, Property, and Compliance claims, with licensing and technical training to prepare for a long-term career in Claims.

Participants gain hands-on experience through shadowing, classroom instruction, and real-world claim exposure, with a clear pathway to permanent roles aligned with interests and business needs.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience (May 2027 graduates considered).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (May 2027 graduates considered).
• Willingness to travel may be required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive rotational training program across multiple claims functions.
• Assist in investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims under guidance.
• Review claim documents, reports, photos, estimates and supporting materials.
• Communicate professionally with policyholders, agents, vendors, and internal partners.
• Document claim activity in claims management systems and maintain files.
• Complete projects and capstone activities to reinforce learning and professional growth.
