Job summary

CPH, a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architectural design firm, seeks a Project Engineer (EIT) to join the Civil/Municipal team in Miami, FL. The role welcomes EIT candidates and recent graduates with 0-1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities include leading design, drafting, and documentation for projects; coordinating with senior staff; ensuring safety and quality standards; and delivering on-time project milestones under PE supervision.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is highly desired.
• Familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or equivalent.
• Experience with WaterCAD/WaterGEMS is a plus.
• EIT or ability to obtain quickly is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
• Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Monitor progress and adjust to ensure proper completion.
• Lead design and preparation of plans, specs, and calculations.
• Identify project risks with senior staff and develop modification strategies.
• Ensure safety and quality standards compliance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and status updates.
• Report project status, risks, and issues to management and clients.
