Job summary

RESPEC in Tampa, FL seeks an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join a team delivering site civil design, permitting, and project delivery for public- and private-sector clients across Florida.

The role covers all stages from inception through planning, design, and construction support, with a clear path toward professional licensure (FE, EIT, and eventually Florida PE). It offers collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on challenging projects and opportunities for mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• FE Exam passed and EIT certification or ability to obtain within a year.
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and editing Specifications.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver site civil design, permitting, and project delivery for public- and private-sector clients.
• Support projects from inception through planning, design, and construction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate travel as needed.
