Black & Veatch is hiring an entry-level Civil Engineer to contribute to water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Savannah, GA. You will support design, analysis, and coordination across teams while developing professionally within a 100% ESOP-owned company.

The role offers hybrid or flexible work options after the first 90 days and onboarding requirements, with opportunities to grow across disciplines and technologies on meaningful infrastructure challenges.

Formación

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• December 2026 graduate to start in Q1 preferred.
• Water/wastewater, hydraulics and fluid mechanics coursework preferred.
• 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards.
• Basic industry knowledge and technology trends.
• Basic knowledge of construction and constructability practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develops familiarity by reading, understanding and applying departmental design guides, standards, systems and policies.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary project teams to support design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Participates in project coordination meetings and resolves design challenges with client requirements.
• Performs routine research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.
• Prepares basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.
• Assists with development of project schedules, cost estimates, and engineering deliverables.
• Gains understanding of internal clients' needs while learning external client drivers.
• Develops and applies knowledge of engineering software, design tools and digital delivery methods.
