Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation in Greenville, SC seeks an entry-level Civil Engineer focused on water and wastewater to contribute to infrastructure projects and grow within a 100% ESOP-owned company.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, perform basic engineering calculations, develop schedules, and help translate client requirements into deliverables while benefiting from flexible work arrangements after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• December 2026 graduate to start in Q1 preferred.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater hydraulics and fluid mechanics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops familiarity by reading and applying design guides, standards, and policies.
• Coordinates with project teams to support design and construction of water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Participates in project meetings and helps resolve design challenges.
• Performs routine research and develops equipment/material recommendations.
• Prepares basic engineering calculations following standard methods.
