Actalent is seeking a Civil Engineer for a contract-to-hire role based in Morris, IL. This onsite position requires flexibility for first shift, Monday–Friday, and a willingness to commute to Morris.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering with 0–2 years of experience and EI certification (or the ability to obtain it within a year). Proficiency in CAD tools (Civil 3D, Open Site) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 0–2 years of civil engineering experience.
• EI Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Ability to perform engineering computations, estimates, and moderately complex design tasks.
• Basic proficiency in computer‑aided design (Civil 3D, Open Site, etc.)
