Job summary

Bohler Engineering Group is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) in Frisco, TX. You’ll learn hands-on, designing land development projects, including site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater management, while working with seasoned engineers and project managers.

You’ll use AutoCAD Civil 3D and participate in formal learning programs, growth opportunities, and mentorship. This is a hands-on role with exposure to commercial, residential, and mixed-use work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Motivation to take initiative and contribute to shared goals.
• EIT certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on land development projects across commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
• Partner with experienced engineers and mentors through all stages of site design from concept to construction.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs.
• Research and interpret design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations.
• Review regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed.
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittals.
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teams.
• Engage in professional and civic activities to build your network.
