LJB Engineering is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with expertise in Transportation, Water Resources, Geospatial and Site Design, Buildings Structure Design, and Safety/Fall Protection Design/Installation. Our diverse expertise, client base, and geographic reach have enabled us to serve clients across all 50 U.S. states and internationally.

We are currently seeking a full-time Entry Level Civil Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a passion for their work, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively while also working independently.

Pay: $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

Essential Functions of the Entry-Level Civil Engineer:

• Design municipal and private engineering projects, including sanitary sewers, stormwater management, site plans, and minor roadway projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs in accordance with client requirements and company standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to complete various site civil design tasks.
• Coordinate with survey crews.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the client’s standards.
• Adapt to changing priorities and conditions quickly.
• Communicate effectively in both written and oral forms.

Essential Credentials for Entry-Level Civil Engineers:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
