Job summary

SGS is seeking a Laboratory Analyst for its Orlando, FL laboratory to join the General Chemistry team. You will prepare and analyze samples with accuracy following SGS analytical SOPs and contribute to meeting daily production targets and turnaround times.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with relevant lab experience, proficiency in English, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. This is a full-time on-site position in Orlando.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Chemistry or related field with 0–2 years in Analytical Chemistry Labs OR 2 years of relevant Sample Prep experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field with 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient English language skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples according to SOPs.
• Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of lab instruments/equipment.
• May assist with validation and MDL studies.
