Job summary

Atlas is seeking a CEI Level 1 Inspector to document construction projects, inspect activities for compliance, and assist with related office tasks. You will report to the Senior Inspector and Project Manager, helping ensure quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction inspection, surveying or highway materials testing.
• Certifications listed (as approved): Asphalt Level I, ACI/ALDOT Concrete Technician, Roadway HMA Pavement Technician, Work Zone Safety, Radiation Safety Technician.
• Knowledge of project plans and specifications and ability to document compliance.

Responsibilities

• Document construction projects and inspect activities to verify compliance with plans and specs.
• Complete daily contractor reports with descriptions of work and pertinent conversations.
• Assist with plotting cross-sections and computing earthwork quantities.
• Report directly to Senior Inspector or Project Manager.
