A leading food distribution company is seeking an Entry Level Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Houma, Louisiana. This role involves timely food delivery, adhering to safety regulations, and successful completion of a training program. Ideal candidates will hold a valid CDL Class A, have driving experience, and be at least 21 years old. Competitive pay of around $60,000/year with training compensation included.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or state-approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL Class A.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete the Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program.
• Ride-with and assist driver trainer during deliveries.
• Perform all required safety checks and conduct inspections of tractor/truck.
• Drive to customer locations and deliver orders according to the scheduled route.
• Collect payments when required.
