Job summary

American Driver LLC seeks drivers for regional runs along the East Coast, averaging about 2,500 miles weekly. Orientation is in Ocala, just down the road from Gainesville.

New drivers are trained by the fleet and paid during training; after training, pay is guaranteed at $1,000 per week for the first 3 months solo, with weekly gross between $1,200 and $1,400 and starting mileage pay of $0.55/mile.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be 21+.
• 120+ hour CDL school certificate or recent driving experience.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years; no DUI/DWI in 10 years.
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate dry van freight along the eastern seaboard.
• Home every two weeks and complete live and drop loads as needed.
• Participate in orientation in Ocala and mentor-led training.

Your paycheck

The work

Dry van freight up and down the eastern seaboard, not far west. Drop and hook, preloads and some live loads and unloads. You are home every two weeks, in an assigned truck about 1.5 years old on average.

Getting started

A recruiter calls and reviews your license and record with you before anything else. Orientation takes no more than 2 days, your hotel is covered, and you get $300 once you are hired. Then mentor training, then the truck is yours.
