Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers starting with a CDL-A and no experience for a western regional fleet. You’ll train with an experienced driver, earn $675 per week during training, then move to solo pay with a guaranteed $1,000 per week for the first 3 months, and up to $1,300 weekly as you gain experience.

Expect 1,700–2,100 miles weekly, home every two weeks, and the option to run beyond the western states for more miles. Equal opportunity employer.

Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. Klamath Falls drivers can build a career on a western regional fleet that keeps runs short, usually no more than 2 days from home, and trains new CDL holders on the road.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• $675 per week during training
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,000 to $1,300
• Standard mileage pay scale that grows with experience
• Up to 6 cents per mile extra in performance bonus
• $15 stop pay

Two Ways to Start

• CDL-A in hand, no experience: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school. Paid training with a driver trainer, paid every week while you learn.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years. Skip training and go straight to your own truck.
