NIS Express in Boise, Idaho, is seeking CDL-A drivers starting with paid training. Trainees ride with an experienced trainer, earning $650 per week during training, then progress to solo with full pay once signed off. Job description

Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. Boise drivers can build a career on a western regional fleet that keeps runs short, usually no more than 2 days from home, and trains new CDL holders on the road.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• $650 per week during training
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,000 to $1,300
• Standard mileage pay scale that grows with experience
• Up to 6 cents per mile extra in performance bonus
• $15 stop pay

Two Ways to Start

• CDL-A in hand, no experience: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school. Paid training with a driver trainer, paid every week while you learn.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years. Skip training and go straight to your own truck.
