Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring an Entry Level Driver Trainee in Springfield, MO to learn tractor trailer or straight truck routes delivering food products to customers. You will train and drive on local, interstate, and overnight routes, following DOT regulations and company safety policies while ensuring on-time deliveries.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, valid CDL A, being 21+, clean MVR, pass pre-employment drug test and road test, and valid DOT Health Card.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Valid CDL A.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Attend and successfully complete Entry Level Driver Trainee training as required.
• Ride-with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries as required.
• Perform all required safety checks per DOT regulations and report issues.
• Deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
• Unload products and verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures.
