Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is recruiting an entry-level Carpenter for a well-established local general contractor serving Skagit County and surrounding areas, with a focus on residential and commercial remodeling, maintenance, repairs, tenant improvements, and general construction services. Training is provided.

You will measure, cut, frame, install fixtures, and perform repairs on residential and commercial projects. No personal tools are required; all tools provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in residential and/or commercial construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut materials: Accurately measure, cut, shape, and smooth wood and other materials.
• Construct frameworks: Build walls, floors, doorframes, roofing structures, and partitions.
• Install fixtures: Install doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, drywall, shelving, and insulation.
• Repair structures: Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or fixtures.
• Material selection: Choose lumber based on size, strength, and project requirements.
• Tool operation: Use saws, drills, sanders, nail guns, and leveling devices.
• Site safety and compliance: Maintain safe work environments and following building codes

Our staffing agency is currently recruiting for an entry level Carpenter to join a well-established local general contractor serving Skagit County and the surrounding areas. With more than 40 years of experience, our client specializes in residential and commercial remodeling, maintenance, repairs, tenant improvements, and general construction services.

As an entry level Carpenter, you will get to perform a wide range of construction, remodeling, repair, and maintenance tasks on residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, a solid understanding of construction practices, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.

This role provides hands-on training and the opportunity to learn valuable skills in construction, remodeling, and building maintenance.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the construction industry. Previous construction experience is helpful but not required. The company is willing to train motivated individuals who are dependable, eager to learn, and have a strong work ethic. No personal tools are required. All necessary tools and equipment will be provided.
