Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Rough Carpenter for a local restoration, remodel, and repair company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with residential and commercial construction and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include framing, blocking, sheathing, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety on site. Valid license and own basic tools are required; travel to multiple job sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Previous rough carpentry experience required.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic construction math.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Own tool belt and basic carpentry tools.

Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Rough Carpenter on behalf of a local restoration, remodel, and repair company. This is a great opportunity for an experienced carpenter looking to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with residential and commercial construction projects and be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

• Perform rough carpentry work for restoration, remodeling, and repair projects
• Frame walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural components
• Install blocking, sheathing, subfloors, and structural supports
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Measure, cut, and assemble building materials accurately
• Assist with demolition and reconstruction efforts as needed
• Maintain a safe and organized job site
• Collaborate with project managers and crew members to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• Previous rough carpentry experience required
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic construction math
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
