Job summary

Team Fishel is seeking an entry-level CAD Survey Technician I to join our Mechanicsville, VA office. You will support the Electric utility survey division with drafting duties and generate base maps for design and construction projects.

The position offers on-site work, training, and opportunities for career development. A valid driver’s license and strong communication skills are required, with 40+ hours per week expected.

Qualifications

• Drafting support and base maps generation training provided.
• AutoCAD training or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct survey computations for boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout work
• Process daily field data from field crews
• Drafting to include survey base maps
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with both office staff and field crews
