Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level CAD Drafter to join our design team. The successful candidate will assist in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for precast concrete components. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone new to the field to gain hands-on experience and grow within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of detailed CAD drawings for precast concrete components based on project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Modify and revise drawings as required to incorporate design changes and updates.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
• Follow company standards and procedures for drafting and design.
• Participate in project meetings to understand project scope, schedule, and requirements.
• Provide support in the creation of bill of materials (BOM) and other project-related documentation.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or diploma in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
• Basic understanding of construction and engineering principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
• Prior experience or internship in drafting or design is a plus but not required.

Compensation Range and Benefits

The base hourly compensation range anticipated for this position is $17-22 / hour, depending on relevant experience, qualifications and certifications. Overtime compensation may be available based on company need.
