TEKsystems seeks a Level 1 technician (helper) for a contract-to-hire role in Ridgeville, SC. The candidate should be trainable with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance, capable of working 10-hour days in outdoor conditions near a data center.

Responsibilities include pulling and routing cabling, assembling racks, labeling equipment, and performing basic installation tasks under supervision. Prior electrical or military experience is valued but not required.

Job description

Level 1 technician (helper) with not much telecom experience. The hiring manager wants someone who is trainable with experience working a physically demanding job in the past. Work ethic and attitude are the main thing they are looking for as they will be working at a data center. Dependability and attendance are crucial as well. Must be able to work 10hr days outside in the heat and cold.

This will most likely be a long term contract with the ability to go direct as an FTE of Vision Technology once headcount becomes available. This position will stay at $20/hr and could increase if the person moves into a leadership position, but not guaranteed under contract until an FTE.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
