Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA seeks a proactive Business Support Specialist to assist users and maintain in-house applications. You will monitor admin changes, troubleshoot with cross-functional teams, and help document processes and FAQs.

The ideal candidate has a systems support background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn new software quickly. This is a full-time role with standard hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in life sciences, computer science, or related field.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Prior experience in a systems support role.

Responsibilities

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be essential in providing assistance to users, solving inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of in-house developed applications. The ideal candidate will be able to monitor and implement necessary administrative changes within the system and serve as a primary point of contact for technical and application-related support.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve user inquiries, providing timely support for in-house applications.
• Monitor and manage administrative changes within the system to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the applications.
• Assist in the documentation of support processes, FAQs, and system updates.
• Provide end-user training and guidance on the proper use of applications when needed.
• Identify recurring issues and collaborate with the development team to improve the user experience.
• Assist in user account management and system configuration adjustments.
• Stay up to date with application updates and changes to ensure continuous system improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a systems support role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Capability to learn new software functionality and systems
• Understanding of business process flow and design

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree in life sciences, computer science, or another related science or engineering curriculum
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed.
