Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. operates Kinetic, a premier fiber internet provider across 18 states. We seek a Buried Drop Technician to install buried copper, fiber, and coaxial cable from the hub to customers’ residences, with overnight travel as needed.

This safety-sensitive role requires the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, work from drawings, and promote Kinetic products during field visits, with responsibilities including training new staff and completing required paperwork.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills required.
• Ability to distinguish colors in color-coded cables.
• Must be able to travel overnight as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass pre-employment DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber & coaxial drop cable to connect the network to customers’ residences.
• Interpret work drawings and complete necessary paperwork.
• Sell and promote Kinetic products and services.
• Train new employees on daily job functions.
