Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Kinetic Buried Drop Technician to perform the burial and installation of copper, fiber, and coaxial drops from the hub to customer residences. The role emphasizes safety and customer service in a field environment.

You will interpret drawings, complete paperwork, promote Uniti products, and train new staff while operating handheld devices and trenching/boring equipment as required.

Qualifications

• Basic technology and math skills required.
• Color discrimination ability for cable coding.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cable to connect Uniti’s network to the customers’ residence.
• Use technical expertise and customer focus to create meaningful connections with customers.
• Interpret work drawings and instructions and complete necessary paperwork.
• Sell and promote Uniti products and services.
• Train new employees on daily job functions.
• Operate a handheld computer for retrieving and clearing job tasks.
• Operate machinery including trenching and boring equipment for burying cables.
