Job summary

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is seeking an Associate Project Consultant for its Building Technology division in New York City. You will support design, evaluation, and repair work on building enclosures under licensed engineers while gaining exposure to diverse projects.

The role targets recent or upcoming graduates with a BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (EIT preferred) and includes a strong emphasis on problem‑solving, travel for field work, and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience; EIT preferred.
• Interest in building construction and solving engineering problems.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.”

Responsibilities

• Assist with new design, evaluation, investigation, and repairs for existing buildings.
• Operate under the direction of a licensed engineer and travel to multiple job sites as needed.
