Qualifications

• 0-2 years of building operations and maintenance experience.
• High School/GED required.
• Willing to obtain 3rd Class Limited Engineer license within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain OSU-CHS physical plant equipment.
• Tighten fittings, re-pack bearings, replace packing glands, gaskets, valves and gauges.
• Maintain air handling units by replacing belts and filters.
• Perform electrical and plumbing tasks, including water tests and chemical replacement as needed.
• Record data (temperature, hours of operation, water/air pressure, levels, voltage) and adjust controls to operating ranges.
• Visually inspect equipment to detect malfunctions or need for repair.
