Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Buffalo Grove, IL, is seeking a Building Enclosure Assistant Staff Associate to support field investigations, testing, and reporting within our Midwest Building Science + Infrastructure team. You will learn through hands-on field work alongside experienced consultants across various facilities.

Responsibilities include performing building science testing, documenting QA observations, and contributing to written reports while developing foundational skills in building

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Certifications may be required (EIT, IIBEC certifications) based on testing types.
• Strong written and verbal communication and basic building science knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform building science & infrastructure testing and consulting.
• Assist with specialized building enclosure testing.
• Document QA observations and prepare field reports.
• Understand and apply basic IBC and local codes.
