Job summary

Boston Whaler, part of Brunswick Boat Group, is seeking a Boat Assembler in Edgewater, FL. You will read drawings, interpret work orders, and assemble hulls, decks, bulkheads and other components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.

You will ensure proper alignment, perform quality checks, uphold safety standards, and collaborate with technicians and engineers to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1+ year related experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to read/hear, interpret and/or understand instructions given verbally or written and exchange accurate information with others.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and work orders to assemble boats.
• Ensure proper alignment and fitting of components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to identify defects and address issues.
• Maintain safety compliance and report safety concerns or incidents.
• Collaborate with teammates and provide support when required.
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment and keep the work area organized.
• Complete tasks within specified time frames to meet production schedules.
