As a Behavioral Technician, you will work one-on-one with children in their homes, schools, and communities, helping them develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

This entry-level position is part-time and in-home or school-based, located in Ogden Dunes, IN.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children and families.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn new systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children receiving ABA services.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based strategies and techniques to support learning and positive behavior.
• Collect and record data on client progress during sessions.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• Travel to client homes, schools, and other approved settings as needed.
