Job summary

American Battery Solutions Inc. (ABS) is seeking an Entry - Temp Production Operator for our Springboro, OH facility. The role involves assembling ABS battery pack systems while following safety rules, work instructions, and quality standards.

You will help improve production efficiency by reducing waste, maintaining equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The job requires training completion, adherence to PPE, and the ability to work with SOPs and standard work.

Qualifications

• Safety training completion and PPE compliance.
• Following SOPs and work instructions in assigned tasks.
• Understanding takt, cycle time, and throughput expectations.
• Adhering to quality requirements to reduce rework and scrap.
• Participating in safety activities and suggesting 6S/ergonomics improvements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products per customer requirements and company goals.
• Complete required safety training and PPE compliance.
• Learn takt and cycle time, throughput expectations, and standard work for each operation.
• Follow SOPs and documented processes for assigned tasks.
• Reduce rework by understanding quality requirements over time.
• Participate in safety activities and contribute ideas for safety improvements.
• Support weekend and off-shift work as required.
• Adhere to all regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as requested and maintain reliable attendance.
